Guaranteed RAM
Uncover the difference between typical and guaranteed RAM in the web hosting world.
RAM, or Random Access Memory, is a form of computer data storage, that enables the data to be read randomly without accessing the preceding bytes before that. This makes the RAM considerably quicker than other types of storage devices including DVDs or HDDs in which all the data must be read so as to access particular information. When you have a shared hosting account, the exact amount of memory your web applications can use cannot be fixed and may sometimes be determined by the free memory that is available on the physical web server. When using a standalone web server, however, there is always a minimum amount of physical memory which will be readily available at all times and will never be assigned to other clients even when it's not used. This is valid with our virtual and dedicated servers.

Guaranteed RAM in VPS Servers
The physical memory that you will get with every
VPS server that we provide is guaranteed and shall be at your disposal at all times even if you don't use the whole thing for a long period of time. Each VPS account features fixed system resources and runs in an isolated container apart from all the other accounts on the physical machine, so even in case some account starts running out of memory, we will never assign some of your memory to that account. Also we never distribute the whole physical memory on the hardware node among the virtual accounts created on it, in order to guarantee that it won't ever run out of memory. Thus, there shall always be free RAM if you want to upgrade your package and we ensure the flawless performance of the physical server.

Guaranteed RAM in Dedicated Servers
All our
dedicated server solutions come with a great deal of physical memory, which will allow you to run rather heavy web applications with no problems. We use brand-new and meticulously tested hardware components when we build a new server to make certain that there will never be any issues of any sort. The RAM memory is not an exception and when you acquire a dedicated server, we shall ensure that you get the best overall performance possible from the configuration that you have picked out. Even if we notice that you aren't using the whole capacity of the web server, we won't alter the hardware in any way, so the total amount of RAM that will be readily available shall always be the same. You may look at the configuration, including the physical memory, in your billing Control Panel at any time.
