Custom Error Pages
Find out what a Custom Error Page is, what function does it serve and the way to set one.
Whenever a page on your site doesn't load, an error message shall be displayed to the visitor. As there are different errors, there are different pages that will appear, but what is standard for all of them is that they are generic and almost certainly shall have practically nothing that resembles the layout of your website, which may be aggravating for any site visitor. This is the primary reason why hosting companies have introduced a feature named Custom Error Pages. For a number of different errors, website visitors shall see your custom content, which could be informative or humorous, in accordance with your preference, and that will match the design of your site, so the pages won't seem like they're not part of your website at all. You can use this option for numerous errors - 400 (Bad request), 401 (Unauthorized), 403 (Forbidden) and 404 (File not Found).
